So with a video playable mobile phone, memory space at your disposable, and a long journey ahead, wouldn’t it be nice if you could watch some of your favourite movies on your cell phone and while away your time?

All you will require for this workshop is a licensed version of the program ‘ImToo MPEG Encoder’ downloadable at ‘http://www.imtoo.com’. A registered version can convert unlimited number of videos with longer durations, while the unregistered versions allows only 5 minutes of conversion. Download the program, install and run it. Then follow the steps given below. Note: The quality of the audio and video can affect the size of the 3GP file. So, choose wisely before you set parameters.

You may find many more free versions of other utilities that can do the same job, but we found that ImToo can do it a lot more better and easily and it also supports a large number of audio and video formats.

Note: When we converted a video file of 471 MB MPEG video, using the best quality settings it bloated into a 3GP file with a size of 789 MB.
